Speakers

Dr. Jeffrey Koh

Partner, Strategic Ventures, Chemistry

Jeffrey is the Strategic Ventures Director at Chemistry. He is tasked to seek out partnerships that enable bluesky activities. He was a lecturer and researcher at UNSW, co-designed the undergraduate degree in Crossmedia and co-developed UNSW’s Coursera course on Transmedia Storytelling, and was a Peer of the Australia Council for the Arts.

 

An artist, designer and engineer, he designed catwalks for PRADA at OMA. He worked as an advisor in the areas of AI and circular economy. He earned his engineering PhD from NUS and has several peer-reviewed publications. He has patents in the US, Singapore and Japan and edited a book on Cultural Robotics where he is a pioneer in the field.

Keith Wong

Senior Business Designer, Chemistry

Keith believes in the exponential potential of synergising business, innovation and design, to create transformative change and generate lasting value for our partners and clients. By integrating the domain of design strategy with business objectives and adopting a multidisciplinary approach, Keith strives to create thoughtful, holistic and innovative solutions that are desirable, feasible, viable, and ethical. 

In Chemistry, Keith straddles the domains of Business and Design, and his contributions have been instrumental in various strategic design, business innovation, and experience design projects across both public and private sectors. 

He blends a sensitivity towards systems thinking, and an empathic approach to problem-solving, which enable him to contribute towards the synthesis of actionable insights from ethnographic research and the translation of opportunities to tangible ideas. 

In 2016, he co-founded and was the Chief Design Officer of Munch Technologies Pte. Ltd., a full-stack AI-enabled food discovery platform that aims to provide food discovery solutions to help users find the perfect dining spot. Outside of design, Keith is a photography-enthusiast, a passionate scuba-diver, and an avid music festival-goer.

Lim Tern Poh

Assistant Head (Advisory & AI Standards), AI Innovation, AI Singapore

Tern Poh is an Assistant Head (Advisory & AI Standards) at AI Singapore. He provides consulting services to enable organizations to undertake the development and deployment of AI minimum viable models. Concurrently, he is part of the AI Technical Committee (AI Audit Framework), where he works on AI standards to establish trust and drive AI adoption.

Before these, he was a Senior AI Apprentice under AI Singapore’s AI Apprenticeship Programme, where he worked on real-world industry projects and deepened his AI engineering skills. He was also an instructor for the Data Analytics Programme at the National University of Singapore and SGUnited Skills Business and Digital Transformation Programme at Singapore Management University.

Tern Poh started his career as a Trainee Trader at Bunge before becoming the APAC Purchasing Manager (IT Innovation) at Procter & Gamble. Coming from a business background, he understands the importance of bridging engineers, clients, and stakeholders to translate analytics insights into impact at scale. He is excited about combining his AI expertise and commercial experience to create exponential value for businesses and society.

Tern Poh is doing his part-time Master of Computing (AI) at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management (Finance & International Trading, Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University and an Advanced Diploma (Biomedical Sciences) from Republic Polytechnic.
